mobile travel application

OVERVIEW

Making travel reservations is a time-consuming process that involves numerous steps. Travelers that want to use frequent flier miles to book airline flight are required to use the airline’s site, limited to only what one airline has for available dates.

Some travelers use 3rd party sites such as Kayak or Booking to shop for hotel prices and then go to the hotel’s website to get more descriptive photos and info about rooms. The resulting amount of ‘bouncing’ isn’t beneficial to the traveler or to service providers.

I chose this project because it seemed to be the most challenging of subjects, to improve the experience for users of a mobile travel application.
